The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (40.5m E-W) enclosed by overgrown, earthen bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1m), except to SE where scarp (H 1.4m) exists; external fosse survives to N as shallow depression. Break (Wth 3.4m) in bank to SW; modern gap (Wth 3.6m) to NNE. Remains of limekiln in bank to S. Hay barn in S half of interior; raised on SE side to compensate for hillslope.
