The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop E-W ridge. Subrectangular area (8.6m N-S; 5.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m). Bank grass covered with some stones visible; straight sides define S half of site; N half is curved. Locally known as a fort. According to Bowman (1934, 158), 'it is said that burials took place in this site'.
