The National Monuments Service's description
Bowman (1934, 451) recorded levelled 'tumulus' on M. Angland's land; 'Surrounding fence, 2 ft. high. Diam. of same 60 feet...Diam. of mound 33 feet'. He also recorded depression in centre '7ft by 5ft by 1ft 6in deep'. Exact location not known.
