The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, in rolling countryside. Roughly circular raised area (H 0.55m; 6m N-S; 6.5m E-W) enclosed by shallow fosse with external bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 0.35m). Four stones (L 0.6m; 0.3m x 0.5m: L 0.6m; 0.3m x 0.45m: L 0.8m; 0.25m x 0.65m: L 0.5m; 0.2m x 0.6m) lying on surface of interior form rough square. Second ring-barrow (11856) c. 8m to SE.
