The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle ESE-facing slope. Bowman (1934, 467) recorded levelled 'tumulus' on J. Collin's land. 'Diameter of surrounding fence, 49 feet: Diameter of base of mound, 31 feet' (ibid.). Arc formed by low rise to W and N gives approx. diameter of 25-30m. According to local information, site called 'fort' in 'fort field' and ploughed numerous times. Ring barrow (CO021-027---) in same field c. 30m to SSE.
