The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture with view to NW. Levelled in 1980s. Circular area (9.6m N-S; 10.6m E-W) survives with dip indicating external fosse. Bowman (1934, 452) recorded 'Diam. of surrounding fence 32ft. Diam. at base of mound, 16ft. A circle of stones was around the base of the mound but was removed many years ago'. Second ring-barrow (11848) c. 230m to NW.
