The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered in 1930 during agricultural activity. 'The pottery vessels were found in a stone cist mouth downwards on a paving slab....each covered a small heap of cremated remains...the largest of the vessels was taken to the United States and has since been lost....the four smaller examples were reburied' (Doody 1986, Cork No. 1). Largest vessel probably an Enlarged Food Vessel Urn (ibid., fig. 33). Exact location of site not known (but see CO019-00102-). (Waddell 1990, 58)
