The National Monuments Service's description

On E side of road, in centre of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13882). Roughly rectangular graveyard (c. 40m E-W; c. 65m N-S) enclosed by drystone wall of large squared stones (H 1.1m; T 1m); wall thicker (T 1.8m) adjacent to entrance stile to W, but reduced to basal courses, topped by wire fence, at W end of N side. Ruin of parish church of Killeenemer (14433) in centre. Interior slightly raised (H 0.3m) above surrounding field level. No gravemarkers noted. Clearance cairns, mostly of small stones, to N, E and S of church; rectangular cairn of large stones to NW (c. 2.75m E-W; c. 1.5m N-S).
