The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Displaced block of mortared masonry (L c. 3.8m; H c. 2.2m) is only visible remains of castle: straight wall face at N end, possibly side of window. Castle of the Roches, forfeited and granted to Broderick in mid-17th century (Healy 1988, 399).
