The National Monuments Service's description
In marshy pasture, c. 20m E of Lougheagle stream which flows S to join Awbeg River. Circular saucer-shaped raised area (14m N-S; 13.4m E-W) defined by low earthen bank (int. H 0.18m; ext. H 0.76m). Interior planted with mature deciduous and coniferous trees.
