The National Monuments Service's description
Built in depression against natural slope. Random-rubble sandstone walls encase earthen core. Front elevation (H c. 4m; Wth 6.31m) faces N; corbelled recess topped with lintel (H 2.34m; Wth 2.27m; D 2.15m), sloping slabs at rear with stoking hole, rectangular ope (Wth 0.62m) at base. Side walls partially collapsed. Funnel infilled.
