The National Monuments Service's description
On area of high ground covered in low scrub and deciduous trees. Depicted as hachured, roughly oval, enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with trigonometric station at centre; as hachured oval raised area (c. 38m N-S; c. 28m E-W) on 1937 OS 6-inch map; area named 'Regan's Rock Covert' on 1906 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Area heavily overgrown; low rise or mound visible with loose stones scattered across surface. Full inspection of site not possible due to overgrowth.
