The National Monuments Service's description

On W side of road. Triangular graveyard, (c. 70m E-W; c. 120m N-S), enclosed by stone wall; entrance to E. In use; earliest headstone noted, located to E of church site, dated 1761. Site of Templemary Church (14453) N of centre. Church depicted as rectangular structure (c. 12m WSW-ENE; c. 7m NNW-SSE) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; remains of church 'traceable' according to OS Field Books of 1840 (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 4, 242); Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 236) refers to 'the ruins of an ancient church or chapel' here. No visible surface trace of church.
