The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on ESE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps, with external fosse shown on 1905 OS 6-inch map. Hachured as circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by fosse on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; fosse (max. D 0.6m) survives to SE, SSE, WSW and NW, enclosing circular area (59.3m SSE-NNW). Furze bushes, growing along inner and outer line of fosse, enclose interior except for numerous gaps. Remains of cultivation ridges cross N half of interior on ESE-WNW axis. Circular enclosure visible in aerial photograph (GSIAP, R687) as cropmark of bank, intervening fosse and outer bank.
