The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on higher ground above stream. Depicted as hachured square area (c. 45m x c. 45m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) surrounded by fosse on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Site heavily overgrown; interior enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m), with external fosse (max. D 1.2m). Possible counterscarp bank survives to NW, as low wide bank. Entrance (Wth 1.2m) to NW; on S side of break, gap in line of fosse for short distance with steep drop down to stream c. 8-9m from base of bank.
