The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing land, broken by marshy ground, on E-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; arc formed by low rise (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m; Wth 6m) survives W->NNE; bank levelled elsewhere and appears to be pushed outwards to E and S giving the site overall dimensions of 22m N-S and 20m E-W. Interior slopes down to E; flat-topped mound (diam. c. 3.3m; H 0.2m) in N half of interior. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 379) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 25yd) on C. O'Reilly's land; site c. 2ft higher than surrounding field.
