The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, c. 40m E of Awbeg River. Rectangular area (35m E-W; 27m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 2.25) with external fosse (D 0.55m). Break (Wth 1.4m) midway along E bank; bank on S side of break curves outwards to extend into fosse; loose stones scattered around base of bank but no evidence of stone facing. Second break (Wth 1.4m) in bank at NW corner; fosse shallow here. Fosse waterlogged; drain, running NW from centre of N fosse, connects it to waterway which in turn is connected at both ends to Awbeg River. Interior raised above level of surrounding field; heavily overgrown with bushes. Listed by Barry (1981, 83, no. 62).
