The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Roughly circular area (32m E-W; 29.5m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m) with external fosse (D 0.6m); outer earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.4m) c. 19m outside of fosse; external fosse (fosse two) to W (D 1m) and N. Internal face of inner bank is low SW ->E, sloping gently down to interior. Kink in outer bank to NNW. According to local information, fosse two infilled to S with field fence clearance material; gap (Wth 3m) recently broken through outer bank to SSE and material dumped inside. Interior planted with coniferous trees. Area between inner bank and outer bank is covered in long grass; concrete silage slab to W.
