The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, in demesne of Highfort House. Semicircular area (straight side 29.7m N-S; projecting 17.7m to W) defined by low earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m) S->SW and by low scarp SW->N and by roadway to E. Three mature beech trees growing on bank. Cottage on opposite side of road; no evident remains to suggest site once formed a complete circle.
