In tillage, on gentle N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure planted with trees on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as bivallate enclosure on 1905 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular area enclosed by fosse on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; stunted growth of barley in area of site. Bivallate circular enclosure visible as cropmark of fosses in aerial photograph (CASAP). Ancient field system visible in surrounding field (ibid.).
