The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on gentle S-facing slope. Depicted as circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by broken line on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 18m) on 1905 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 15m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; bivallate circular enclosure visible as cropmark of fosses in aerial photograph (CASAP). Earlier field system also visible in aerial photograph.
