The National Monuments Service's description

Depicted as hachured rectangular enclosure (c. 25m E-W; c. 20m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with lime kiln at SW corner. In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, c. 200m E of Awbeg River; adjoining W side of farmyard. Rectangular area defined on N (L 26.5m) and W sides (L 24m) by stone-faced earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.25m); on E side by farm building; on S side by block wall with gate at centre. Interior appears to be raised slightly above level of surrounding ground. Listed by Barry (1981, 83, no. 67). No visible surface trace of lime kiln.
