The National Monuments Service's description

Bowman (1934, 433) recorded two 'dallans' on Mr E. Hayes' land c. 600 yards west of moated site (14220); 'Orientation East and West - the larger being on the east side. Dimensions: 3ft 2in by 1ft 3in by 5ft 9in girth'. Exact location not known.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
