The National Monuments Service's description

In ringfort (CO015-07501-). NMI files record that several chambers were seen in August 1934 (McCarthy 1977, 344); according to local information, earth-cut chambers were destroyed during construction of slurry pit in 1970s or early 1980s in interior of ringfort.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
