The National Monuments Service's description
Bowman (1934, 123) recorded cairn on Mrs Breslane's land; '...levelled. The surrounding stone circle, and a large flat stone, c. 7ft x 3ft were removed c. 1924. 'Burned bones' were found under the flagstone...There are now no remains of the original cairn'. Exact location not known.
