In pasture, adjacent to spring. Laneway to house partially covers site but burnt material was found in narrow strip between lane and field fence to E. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 122) on E. O'Donovan's land. Second fulacht fiadh (11456) c. 120m to NE; third (11457) c. 200m to NE.
