The National Monuments Service's description
In W end of oval cairn (4.2m E-W; 2.4m N-S; H 0.67m) (CO013-006----). Square cist consisting of four upright stones (0.54m x 0.68m x 0.13m; 0.88m x 0.9m x 0.3m; 0.6m x 1.4m x 0.18m; 4th stone (Wth 0.6m) partially concealed by cairn material; hawthorn in centre. Low crescent of cairn material on S side of cairn may indicate larger mound originally. According to Bowman (1934, 442), 'stone which covered the cist lies nearby, it measures 3ft by 2ft 10in by 3in'; possibly stone slab (0.4m x 0.36m x 0.05m) at E end of cairn although dimensions differ.
