The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (29.8m N-S; 29.1m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.8m) with external fosse (D 1.5m). Bank survives best SSW->ESE; no surface trace noted of lime kiln depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map, against inner face of bank to SE. Fosse waterlogged to W and NW. Entrance (Wth 4m) to W, now blocked; causeway across fosse heavily overgrown. Gap worn through bank to E. Grass-covered interior slopes down to SW; surface uneven.
