The National Monuments Service's description

Ruined remains of 1-storey multiperiod house. Entrance front, internal dividing walls, and part of rear elevation, built attached to and between two earlier gables. Entrance front (E) of 5 bays, four stone steps lead up to central round-headed door ope. Rectangular window opes with stone lintels and 18th century moulded stone sills; window at S end partially blocked by inserted wall. Steeply pitched S gable was internal wall of 17th-century house: projecting chimney stack on S side has large ground-floor fireplace (Wth 1.52m), dressed ashlar limestone surround (Wth 0.41m) with chamfered edge, remains of brick-domed bread oven on W side with two flues; narrow brick-arched fireplace on 1st floor. North side of S gable contains small fireplace in shallow projection. Central (blocked) window at ground-floor level in N gable, inserted into internally projecting fireplace. Interior divided by a central hallway (Wth 4.04m), slightly projecting to rear, with rooms (c. 5.5m sq.) on either side; corner fireplace in N room; remains of short projection to rear on N side; later addition to rear on S side built into slope. Abandoned range of 2-storey farm buildings nearby. House shown in this vicinity on Down Survey (1655-6) (1655-6) barony map. According to local information, remains of house demolished in 1990s.
