The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps; hachured as circular raised area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by fosse on 1936 OS 6-inch maps. Field boundary skirts enclosure (ENE->NE) on 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps, but forms part of hachured enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. According to local information, single earthen bank with surrounding fosse, levelled c. late 1970's. Upstanding circular enclosure visible in aerial photograph (GSIAP, R649; May 1977), skirted by field boundary W->E. Possible enclosure (CO007-090---) lies c. 130m to NW.
