The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Indicated as roughly oval field (diam. 60m E-W; 50m N-S) on 1842, 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps, adjoining N side of farmyard. Roughly oval area (60m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.4m), stone faced in parts. Break in bank to E (Wth 4m) and W (Wth 2.3m), joined by farm laneway which crosses interior. Farm buildings encroach on enclosure to SE. Interior heavily overgrown with coniferous trees, deciduous trees, low briars and bush cover. Not known locally as a fort.
