The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on SE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured arc indicating bank S->W on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Arc (C 21m), S->WNW, formed by scarp (H 1.05m) with external fosse (D 0.25m). Gentle slope down from top of scarp towards interior. Scarp planted with whitethorn; locally known as fort.
