The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S bank of stream. Grass-covered spread of burnt material. According to local information, mound levelled c. 1978. Probably one of three fulachta fiadh (11106, 11108) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 619).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
