The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, just off the crest of a rise of a NW-facing slope. A circular area (36m E-W; 35m N-S) is defined by a low, grass-covered, earthen bank (Wth c. 8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m). There is a break (Wth c. 5m) in the bank at SE. The interior is level and raised slightly on the N side to compensate for the hillslope. This possible rath was identified on an aerial photograph (ASIAP) taken in September 2002.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
