The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, to NW of road extending NE-SW. Depicted on 1936 OS 6-inch map as D-shaped area (straight side c. 25m NE-SW; extending c. 15m to NW) defined by roadside boundary to SE; arc hachured as scarp SW->NE. House built immediately to W of site. Permission to visit site refused by landowner. Low rise visible from roadside. Known locally as site of 'fort'.
