The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on level ground. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured subrectangular bivallate enclosure (c. 70m NE-SW; c. 50m NW-SE), skirted by field boundary to NW->SE; on 1905 OS 6-inch map as hachured bivallate enclosure oval enclosure, with external fosse hachured N->SE; on 1936 OS 6-inch map banks hachured as scarps and surrounding field boundary (NW->SE) also hachured. Levelled; rise visible in area of site; to SE, depression outside raised area, with external low rise, may be remains of intervening fosse and external bank. Insubstantial field boundary surrounds site from NW->SE, with drain to outside.
