The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture; townland boundary kinks to respect S bank of enclosure. Heavily overgrown, rectangular area (c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank to S (int. H 2.2m; ext. H 2.65m), W and N (int. H slight rise; ext. H 1.7m), and by scarp to E (H c. 1m to base of fosse); external wide waterlogged fosse (D 1.05m) all around. Berm between fosse and external face of bank on S (Wth 2m) and N sides. Bank highest at all four corners. Causewayed entrance at S end of W side (Wth 2.5m). Interior level, waterlogged and densely overgrown. Listed by Barry (1981, 83, no. 65). Second moated site (14206) lies c. 500m to NW.
