The National Monuments Service's description
On W bank of River Maigue. All that now stand are fragments of N and E wall of rectangular mill (17m E-W; 9.5m N-S), and part of extension at NW corner. Wheel-pit (Wth 2.04m; D 0.7m) alongside E wall, with limestone bearing stone; central lintelled ope (Wth 1.02m) in E wall of mill. According to local information, mill was 4-storeys high and had an iron waterwheel. Millstone (diam. 1.1m) on ground to S.
