The National Monuments Service's description
Westropp (1897, 289) refers to a tombstone ‘in the middle of the church’ with an epitaph, in raised 'black letters' along its edge and notes that Canon Dwyer read part of it as ‘Hic Jacet Magister Cornelius’. This monument was not immediately apparent on a brief visit in June 2019.
