The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in rough pasture on a valley floor of bog and rough pasture with a stream/land drain adjacent at SE. A horseshoe-shaped mound (10 NW-SE; c. 12-14m NE-SW), open (Wth 3.5m) to SE, where it abuts a stream or land drain. The trough area (c. 6m NW-SE; c. 5m NE-SW) is well defined and there is evidence of heat-shattered stone and blackened soil. The monument is covered in dense scrub but is otherwise well preserved. A ringfort (CL058-019---) lies c. 155m to the NW.
