The National Monuments Service's description

Connecting Feenish Island and Inishmacnaghtan. Described by O’Sullivan et al. (2010) as follows: ‘A causeway connects Feenish Island with Inishmacnaghtan at low tide. It is c. 150 in length and c. 2m side. It appears to consist of a double row of boulders with infill. The causeway is marked on the 2nd edition OS map.' The feature is also named 'Ford' on the OS 6-inch map. (O’Sullivan et al. 2010, Appendix 1, 70, Feenish Island)
