The National Monuments Service's description

Listed in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996) as ‘House, 17th century’ as the house contained a fireplace with a datestone that read ‘1614 John McNamara and Onora Clanchi bilded theis cheimneis in the year of our Lord’. The fireplace was reported missing (pers. comm. Risteard Ua Cróinín, 21 June 2013) and is considered to come from Danganbrack Castle (CL034-138----) while Ballykilty house is apparently of 18th century date (ibid., 7 July 2014).
