The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a W-facing slope in pasture on the E shore of Ballybeg Lough. Archaeological test-trenching (April 2014; Licence no. 14E0106) in advance of the development of a crematorium and associated works located a circular ditched enclosure (diam. c. 43-6m; ditch Wth 2.9-3.4m; D 0.85m) with internal post-holes, pits and a linear feature. A field system, several enclosures and earthworks (CL041-077001- to CL041-077004-) lie in the adjoining fields to the S and a ring-ditch (CL041-180----) lies c. 450m to the SSE.
