The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle SE-facing slope at the centre of a burial ground (CL038-026001-). A circular well (int. diam. c. 1m) surrounded by a drystone wall (Wth 0.8m; int. H 2.1m; ext. H 0.6m; ext. diam. 3.2-3.4m) with an entrance (Wth 0.75m) and six steps at NW. A number of triangular alcoves containing offerings line the internal walls. The well has been conserved.
