The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the W end of an E-W ridge. Listed as 'enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular scrub-covered area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 7.5-8m; int. H 0.6-1.2m; ext. H 2-2.2m) separated by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 3-3.4m; ext. D 1-1.6m) from an outer bank (Wth 4-5.5m; ext. H 0.3m) N-S which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 4.2-5.4m; int. H 1.6-1.8m; ext. H 1-1.5m) elsewehere. The original entrance was not identified.
