The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight, low rise which is on a level area at the base of a N-facing slope, in improved gently undulating pasture and parkland of the former Maryfort Estate. This is a large oval area (c. 29m N-S; c. 24m E-W) defined by the remains of a levelled bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m; Wth at top 0.7m; overall Wth 3.5m) W-NE and a levelled bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.25m; Wth at top 2m; overall Wth 5.6m) SE-S which are the best preserved portions. The enclosing elements are very faint SW-W, where they are barely traceable and have been disturbed NE-SE, where there is a slight indent. An outer fosse (overall Wth 3.4m; D 0.1m) is evident W-NE and SE-SW. A steeper part of the natural rise falls uniformly from the exterior of the outer fosse NW-NE. This monument is slightly disturbed in places, especially NE-SE where there is an indent and SW-W where it has almost been levelled out. The interior is undulating, probably due to disturbance recorded at WSW and within the E sector. The extant remains are best seen on aerial imagery (Digital Globe).
