The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, on an elevated rocky area, which is overgrown with dense thickets and is overlooking a small poorly drained area to the N. Not depicted on OS historic mapping but a cist is recorded at this location in the OS Name Book (1917), Form 230 (pers. comm. Paul Walsh, 21 October 1991, SMR file). Not visible at ground level. The monument may be obscured by an impenetrable thicket of vegetation to the immediate W.
