The National Monuments Service's description

At the S end of a low N-S ridge with rock outcrop. Oval grass and scrub-covered platform (dims. 18m N-S; 6m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 1-3m). This is the site of Coonagh Castle (CL034-094002-).
