The National Monuments Service's description
A house of correction within Ennis historic town (CL033-082----) is mentioned by Philip Dwyer in his history of the Diocese of Killaloe (1878) as being under construction in 1642. The location is unknown. (Ó Dálaigh 2012, 15)
