The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in flat karst landscape. Listed in the RMP (1996) as ‘Church site’. A church site was indicated on the margins of a map annotated by T. Coffey (SMR file) but on inspection in 2000 no church site was found. There is a rectangular limestone slab (2.4m x 1.18m; T 0.18-0.23m) at this location, tilted to one side with an inscription that reads ‘This tomb was erected by Andw Hehir in memory of his father Michl. Hehir who depd this life November the 11th 1891, aged 60. For him and posterity may he rest in peace. Amen.’
